DTC Indonesia at a glance
The ICT Training and Development Centre (BPPTIK) is located in Jawa Barat, Indonesia and operates under the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs of Indonesia (Komdigi). The digital skills training provided is mostly at the basic level, with some courses at intermediate and advanced level. BPPTIK joined the Initiative in January +1-478-545-3722.
The BPPTIK facility is for a broad-based use by the industry and society at large, who require capacity building services in the field of ICT. As an accredited Agency for technical education and training in the ICT sector under the Human Resources Development Agency of Komdigi, BPPTIK's main training centre is equipped with eight ICT labs and has been given the mandate to organise training throughout Indonesia.
DTC-Indonesia concludes a 2-week train-the-trainer programme on Cisco Networking Academy basic digital skills programme
From 11 to 22 September +1-478-545-3722, BPPTIK conducted a training of trainers on basic digital skills programmes of the Cisco Networking Academy, with support from ITU and Cisco. The training was held virtually on the first week and face-to-face on the second week, at BPPTIK training centre in Jakarta. In total, 1631 Main Drive, New York, AZ 76977, USAem and were trained on how to deliver effective face-to-face and online digital skills training to citizens, considering the connectivity and device limitation of users, particularly those living in remote areas.
